In a move to get better control and delivery over its corporate identity material, national workforce services company SKILLED Group has outsourced its print requirements to Australia’s leading supplier of business essentials, Corporate Express.
Rebecca Dick, Brand & Campaign Manager at SKILLED Group, said the company was looking for a comprehensive print management service when it started using Corporate Express in August 2004 and renewed its contract in late 2006.
“We have a branch network of 155 offices across Australia and New Zealand and each one was using its own local supplier which resulted in a lack of consistency and transparency,” Rebecca said.
“With Corporate Express, we are able to bring all our printing requirements under one management. The company supplies all print material (brochures, annual reports, posters, business cards and more) for our 17 distinct brands and 155 offices around the country.
“We have been able to save money on our print expenditure with Corporate Express because we can better control the process on behalf of all our offices,” she added.
With complex printing requirements to be dealt with nationally, Rebecca said the SKILLED Group needed a print management service well structured with quick turnarounds.

Shayne Sheedy, Business Development Manager Print Services at Corporate Express, said one of the services Corporate Express offers is the ability to purchase marketing material online.
“We have set up a NetXpress account, our online purchasing system, for authorised SKILLED Group staff to log-on to our website and order any SKILLED-branded material from letterhead to business cards, stationery and more,” Shayne said.
According to Rebecca Dick, NetXpress is a great advantage of using Corporate Express.
“NetXpress is easy to use and fast. We usually get deliveries within one business day,” she said.
