As one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading providers of business products and services we are busy investing and building for the future. As part of this investment we are pleased to announce the forthcoming implementation of SAP.
SAP is an Enterprise Resource Planning system and comes with ‘best in class’ credentials. It is a trusted foundation for business excellence and innovation. The SAP ERP application draws on more than 30 years experience, with more than 86,000 customers in over 120 countries.
For our customers this means improved functionality to a wide range of business processes, from the sales order processing through to the financial management of your account.
For the last 4 years an internal IBM SAP system integration team has worked together with Corporate Express subject matter experts preparing the organisation for this significant change.
From early 2010, we will start the implementation phase. In the vast majority of cases you will see no immediate or noticeable impact or change in the way you do business with us. The basic process of placing orders, receiving goods and services, receiving and paying invoices will operate much the same as they do today.
What you may notice are slight changes to the format and appearance of documents such as invoices.
Behind the scenes however, will be a very different scenario, and many improvements to internal process will be activated, all designed to provide a better level of customer service.
For other systems such as Net Xpress your interaction with our business will not change. For B2B / EDI transactions we will continue to use our industry leading and flexible WebMethods platform to manage our electronic transactions with customers.
We are committed to keeping you informed. Over the coming months you will receive further updates and information on the progress of the implementation. If at anytime, you would like more information, have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact your Account Manager or log on to www.cenz.co.nz for the latest updates.
